Short Bio: David has had Spiritual Experiences throughout his life, the stories of which he included in books and personal stories for decades. In 1989 at the age of 18 he set out on a journey to spend a year in Europe with his bicycle. He rode 4,500 miles from Frankfurt, Germany to Istanbul, Turkey.  Sunday’s three stories are from before he left for Europe and the beginning of the bike tour. Born in Southern California he never felt at home until he came to Alaska in 1991 to spend 5 days and never left. He has owned a few businesses, was married for 11 years and has done business and personal coaching.

INSIGHTS on how forgiveness is an essential tool for healing. All the world is a mirror reflecting back to us what we allow to dominate our perception. If we allow fear judgment and attachment to dominate our perceptions we are lost in Fog of confusion and illusion which makes difficult to SEE the world from a different perspective. Ann will offer practical solutions to dissolve these foes and move into the light.

 Ann is a life long student of metaphysics. She is committed to knowing the Truth. She teaches what she feels she most needs to learn.

Short Blurb: In this talk, Angela will share a brief history of dying in western society, forgotten rituals and ceremonies to honor our passed loved ones, and the importance of discussing death before the inevitable happens. By shifting our current practices, we can empower those facing death to find acceptance and their loved ones to do the same as they navigate grief.     

 Bio: Owner of Lilies of the Valley, Angela is a death doula and facilitator of women’s circles. Her business was founded on the belief that being mindful of death will allow us to live better lives. She is an educator and advocate of end-of-life planning, hosting community events that invite us to discuss death and dying. Through her efforts, she hopes that her community will become comfortable in such conversations so that we may live well and die well.
